Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rick Richardson (ranked 2832 p4p, 25489 weight class) and Shin Otami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Rick Richardson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shin Otami!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richardson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Otami jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Richardson walks away with a smile on his face. Otami gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Otami misses with a takedown attempt - Richardson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Richardson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at CKC MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Richardson cracks a nice hook into Otami's ribs.
Otami takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Richardson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Otami takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Richardson creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Otami with a big uppercut! Otami tries to clinch up but Richardson pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Otami to the mat! Otami covers up and Richardson unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
