The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Everett rushes Hole and presses him up against the ropes. Everett gets underhooks to prevent Hole's takedown attempt.
Hole has Everett pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Everett manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Hole has hold of one of Everett's legs. Everett is fighting the takedown attempt but Hole gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
