Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Serra (ranked 2819 p4p, 3692 weight class) and Lingo Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Serra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Lingo Rex! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice leg kick from Rex, right into the meat of the thigh.
No joy there for Serra, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rex's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Serra connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rex scrambles back to his feet. Serra keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rex. Rex scores with a crisp jab that stopped Serra in his tracks.
It looks like Jack Serra has been cut. Rex fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Serra manages to avoid it. Serra has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Crapollas Gym in the buildup to the fight. Rex will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Rex has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Serra missing with a left hand there. Rex was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Lingo Rex seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A swing and a miss from Serra. Rex is trying to counter with his kicks. Serra throws an off balance right hand
and Rex counters with a straight right hand. Serra lands with an overhand left. Serra throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rex sees it coming and avoids it easily. Serra throws out a loose jab but Rex uses good head movement to avoid it. Rex only half commits to the counter leg kick. That kick from Rex tenderised Serra's leg. Serra is trying to keep his angry face on. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rex throws a sloppy head kick and Serra moves out of range easily. Rex misses with an uppercut. Serra saw that one coming. Rex waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Serra. Serra clobbers Rex with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Rex avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Serra missing with a left hand there. Rex was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Rex connects with a body shot. Rex throws a head kick that misses. Good exchange - Rex coming out on top. Serra drives through and clinches with Rex against the cage.
Rex misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Rex breaks from the clinch.
Serra throws an overhand right that lands on Rex's shoulder, as Rex tries to avoid the shot. Serra takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Rex ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Serra lands the left hand. Serra is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. The fighters circling - Serra throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Rex fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Serra manages to avoid it. Serra scores with a nice head shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Serra takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Serra walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Serra on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Rex throws a good cross that connects.
Serra is rocked! Rex looks for the body kick but Serra saw that one coming. Rex connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Serra's hands. Oh Serra is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Serra misses with a looping right. Rex fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Serra. Serra throws a shot from downtown. Rex moves away and avoids it. Serra seems to have got his legs back now. Serra keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rex. Rex tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Serra is able to avoid easily. Rex throws a right hand that misses
and Serra counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Rex looks to land a combination but Serra avoids it well. Rex misses with a low kick. Serra throws a looping overhand right but Rex ducks down to avoid it. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rex! But no joy. Rex throws a chopping leg kick but Serra manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Serra misses with a hook. Rex walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Serra checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Nice cross by Serra. Rex has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

and Rex cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Serra looks to land a right hand but Rex moved out of range. And Rex responds with a good body kick, but Serra manages to step out the way in time. Serra checks a low kick from Rex. Rex lands a big head kick that sends Serra tumbling to the mat! Rex takes a step backwards and waves Serra back to his feet - he wants the finish! Rex cracks Serra with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rex has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Serra to stand back up!
Jack Serra's cut is getting worse. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Serra avoids a kick to the body.
Rex lands with a nice body kick. Rex changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Rex is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Serra is breathing heavily. Rex throws an overhand right that drops Serra like a sack of potatoes! Rex dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lingo Rex! Lingo Rex tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
