Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frederic Gassita (ranked 3748 p4p, 4603 weight class) and Pai Chen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pai Chen!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chen gets a double leg takedown into Gassita's guard.
Chen throwing strikes from guard but Gassita blocks nicely.
Chen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chen is looking to stand up but Gassita won't let him.
Chen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Chen wants to pass the guard but Gassita is keeping the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gassita with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Chen to score with a decent uppercut.

Chen presses Gassita against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Chen throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Gassita is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Chen to keep the fight standing.
Chen turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Chen manages to end up in side control.
Gassita seems a little lost for a moment, as Chen dominates the positioning.

Chen tries to score with some ground and pound. Gassita controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Chen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gassita is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Chen tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Chen cracks Gassita with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Chen immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Gassita is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Chen!
