Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sherpov Gelovkin (ranked 1518 p4p, 1668 weight class) and Poyzan Cloud (ranked 154 p4p, 169 weight class). Poyzan Cloud has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sherpov Gelovkin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sherpov Gelovkin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Poyzan Cloud! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gelovkin goes for a double leg but Cloud avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cloud continues to drive forward.
Cloud gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Cloud is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gelovkin is just riding it out for now. Cloud eventually gives up the hold. Cloud sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Gelovkin defending well though.

Poor strikes thrown by Cloud there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Cloud has hold of Gelovkin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gelovkin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Gelovkin tries to hold on but Cloud pushes him away.
Cloud wants to finish this one by submission but Gelovkin is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Cloud. Cloud looking to ground and pound but Gelovkin is blocking nicely. Cloud throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Gelovkin because Cloud loaded up on that one. Gelovkin is trying to escape the mount but Cloud keeps good control and instead manages to take Gelovkin's back.
Cloud avoiding Gelovkin 's attempts to control his hands. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cloud throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gelovkin wants to control his opponent's hands but Cloud gets his hands free. Well, with Cloud on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Gelovkin is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Gelovkin is trying to break free.
Gelovkin defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Cloud's arms. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Poyzan Cloud dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Cloud lands a big elbow. Cloud has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Gelovkin is trying desperately to improve position. Gelovkin tries to hold on but Cloud postures up. Gelovkin is working to get back to half guard.
Poyzan Cloud has got the better of the ground game so far. Gelovkin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Cloud has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Cloud throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Gelovkin wants to control but Cloud is having none of it.
Cloud quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Cloud but it's paid off an Gelovkin is forced to tap! Nice work by Cloud.
