The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kvaratskhelia shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Song as he avoids it easily.

Song is trying to escape back to his feet but Kvaratskhelia uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Kvaratskhelia connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Song some visible discomfort.

Kvaratskhelia has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Song is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kvaratskhelia yanks on the arm and Song is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kvaratskhelia.

In his post fight interview, Zurab Kvaratskhelia started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
