Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between McGregor Lee (ranked 2357 p4p, 24862 weight class) and Magomed Magomedsharipov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 43 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Magomed Magomedsharipov!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedsharipov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lee counters with a crisp right hand that drops Magomedsharipov! Lee lets Magomedsharipov back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch.
I was talking to Lee's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
A shot in the inside from Lee.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee gets underhooks to prevent Magomedsharipov's takedown attempt.

Lee dips a shoulder and cracks Magomedsharipov with a mighty uppercut! Magomedsharipov falls back against the cage and Lee unloads with a barrage of strikes! Magomedsharipov is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Lee screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). McGregor Lee!
