Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? McCoy moves into the clinch successfully.
McCoy has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Maykit is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Maykit drops down looking for an ankle pick but McCoy pulls his leg out and moves away.
Maykit fails with a takedown attempt from distance. McCoy has taken the fight to the clinch.
McCoy has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Maykit after a bit of a struggle. McCoy tries to score a body lock takedown but Maykit shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gillechriosd McCoy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Maykit changes levels and goes for a takedown here. McCoy fights it off and pushes away nicely.

McCoy trying to control the position from guard on top but Maykit is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Maykit is trying to control the position but McCoy postures up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Maykit looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
