The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Hill shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lauzon's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Lauzon (0) vs (2) Hill
Lauzon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hill wants to control from the top but Lauzon keeps moving.

We've been hearing good reports from Lauzon's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Lauzon is fighting to break Hill's control of his arms but Hill is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Lauzon is working to tighten his grip on Hill's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hill has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lauzon is really squeezing tight and eventually Hill passes out! Lauzon breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
