This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 9 losses; Abasi Njagi! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jonathan Paton and Franklyn Lucas.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Cabrera gets the takedown into side control. Njagi is looking to pass Cabrera's guard but actually Cabrera recovers to full guard. Njagi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cabrera swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
