Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Tomahawk Chai (ranked 1662 p4p, 5440 weight class) and Alexander Vij (ranked 218 p4p, 510 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Tomahawk Chai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 8 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Vij! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chai swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Vij looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Chai misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The fighters circling - Chai throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Vij throws out a counter right but Chai avoids it with no problem. A slapping leg kick lands for Vij.

Chai throws a series of punches but Vij avoids them all with ease. Vij tries to move into range but Chai moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Vij throws a body shot but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vij showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Chai.
Vij is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Chai with a body shot. We've been told by Chai's head coaches at Master Chai's Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Chai throws an overhand right that lands on Vij's shoulder, as Vij tries to avoid the shot. Vij steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Vij takes a swing at Chai's ribcage but misses. Chai appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Chai throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Vij counters with a body kick. Chai stuns Vij with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Vij lands a head shot.
Vij moves into the clinch. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Vij creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Vij misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Chai.

Still in the clinch, Vij scores with a nice short uppercut. Vij missing with knees to the body.
Vij pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nice shot by Chai. Chai avoids the body shot from Vij.
Chai walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Chai is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Alexander Vij! Alexander Vij decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
