Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Miocic (ranked 2038 p4p, 2704 weight class) and Master Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miocic comes to the cage accompanied by God Gave Me Style - 50 Cent. Master Petrov has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Miocic.

Miocic sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Petrov tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Miocic wants to clinch up but Petrov keeps it at a distance.
Miocic shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Petrov defends it nicely.
Petrov looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Nice combo by Petrov ! Oh, that's hurt him - Miocic falls to the canvas and Petrov follows him into side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Petrov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Miocic knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Miocic seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Petrov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Miocic working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
