And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 19 wins and 16 losses; Thiago Cardosi! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Cardosi clinches with his opponent.

Takeshi trying to control but Cardosi is working from the bottom. Cardosi isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Takeshi stacks Cardosi on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Takeshi! Takeshi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cardosi sees it coming and defends easily. Cardosi tries to roll over but Takeshi keeps him under control. Cardosi is pressing down on Takeshi's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Takeshi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Cardosi holds on and takes a little breather. Cardosi wants to sweep here but Takeshi controlling him for the moment. Cardosi keeping moving, preventing Takeshi from controlling successfully.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Takeshi looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Cardosi moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Takeshi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Takeshi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Takeshi wants to control from the top but Cardosi keeps moving. Cardosi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
