This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 41 wins and 21 losses; Tanner Kyng! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 5 losses; Barry Craig! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Kyng has closed the distance and engaged Craig in a clinch.
Craig wants to take the fight to the mat but Kyng manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

 That's nine minutes gone in the round. Kyng has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Craig is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Kyng is looking to work his way around to Craig's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Craig wants to hold on but Kyng pushes him away. Kyng controlling from the full mount. Kyng wants to take Craig's back here but Craig is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
 That's ten minutes gone in the round. Kyng wants to control the pace but Craig is squirming around nicely. Craig is working to get back to half guard.

 That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Craig stops Kyng from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Craig sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Craig is trying to get back to full guard. Kyng wants to free his trapped foot but Craig is holding on for dear life with his legs. Craig moves into full guard.

 That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. Kyng seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Kyng wants to pass the guard but Craig is keeping the position. Craig keeping moving, preventing Kyng from controlling successfully. Craig is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Kyng looking to sit in guard and control but Craig gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. It looks like Craig might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Kyng tries to land a sweep but no joy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Craig trying to control but Kyng is working from the bottom. Kyng is pulling down on Craig's head. It's preventing any offense from Craig, at least for the moment.
