Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Nero Vogels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hans Schultz!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schultz misses the shot to the body.
Vogels connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Vogels takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Schultz swings for the body but Vogels moves out of range.
Vogels waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Schultz.
Schultz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A little jabbing left from Schultz on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Schultz moves out of range as Vogels strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vogels bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Schultz loads up on a big right hand but Vogels slips the punch.
And Vogels counters with a quick kick to the body but Schultz blocks it.
Vogels cracks Schultz with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Schultz looks to land a right hand but Vogels moved out of range.
Vogels scores with a nice body kick.
Schultz looks winded!
Vogels is looking to slow Schultz down with leg kicks.
Vogels misses with a wild combination.
Schultz misses with a wild body shot.
Vogels thinks about countering with a body kick.
Vogels throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Schultz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Schultz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vogels.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vogels cracks Schultz with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Vogels cracks Schultz with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Schultz is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Schultz is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
It looks like Hans Schultz has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vogels connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Schultz out cold! This one is over in a flash!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nero Vogels!

Hans Schultz was interviewed post fight and said '"I see nothing! I hear nothing! I know nothing!"'.
