Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Schmedgar Dimms (ranked 4364 p4p, 20427 weight class) and Bryant Smith (ranked 364 p4p, 431 weight class). Smith has chosen Television - Marquee Moon as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 38 - 36 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryant Smith!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Smith.
Smith throws a body shot but no joy.
Dimms moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Smith tries a head kick but it misses.
Smith throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dimms avoids the body shot from Smith.
The fighters circling - Smith throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dimms throws a quick counter head kick but Smith was just out of range.
Dimms ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Smith misses with a leg kick
and Dimms counters with a series of strikes. Smith will be more careful next time no doubt.
Smith throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Smith throws the kick towards the body but Dimms avoids it.
Dimms thinks about countering with a head kick.
Smith misses with a combination
and Dimms counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dimms.
I was talking to Dimms's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Dimms pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dimms goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Smith throws a head kick that misses.
Dimms avoids the head kick by Smith.
Dimms is looking to counter punch.
Smith just misses with a punch to the body.
Bryant Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dimms moves away from the strike by Smith.
Dimms dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dimms lands with an uppercut that bounces Smith off the cage and back into range.
Smith takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Smith misses with a right hand
letting Dimms counter with a right hand.
The crowd cheers as Smith lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dimms doesn't seem phased though.
Dimms bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dimms misses with a wild combination.
Smith takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Smith is looking to score with low kicks.
Smith misses with a wild body shot.
Smith takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dimms.
Bryant Smith is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Smith misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dimms.

Dimms connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Smith out cold! This one is over in a flash!
