Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shingen Takeda (ranked 2293 p4p, 2624 weight class) and Topf Deckel (ranked 228 p4p, 260 weight class). Takeda comes to the cage accompanied by Now We Are Free. The key to victory for Shingen Takeda has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shingen Takeda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Topf Deckel!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deckel takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Takeda!
It looks like Topf Deckel has been cut.
Takeda throws a head kick but Deckel moves out of range.
Deckel moves out of range as Takeda throws a body kick.
Deckel blocks a jab.
A little jabbing left from Deckel on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Takeda scores with a nice head shot.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Deckel has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A punch lands to the side of Deckel 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Takeda ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Deckel moves away.
Takeda is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Deckel takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Deckel dives in and grabs Takeda's left leg, looking for a takedown. Takeda pushes down on Deckel's head and hops out.
Takeda is pawing at Deckel, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Deckel's nose. Deckel is badly hurt! Takeda pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Deckel tries desperately to hold on but Takeda is relentless in his assault! As Deckel receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Takeda away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shingen Takeda!
A relieved looking Shingen Takeda thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
