Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lloyd Blue (ranked 998 p4p, 1244 weight class) and Dean Gaines (ranked 129 p4p, 161 weight class). Blue comes to the cage accompanied by HonestKey- When I Wake Up. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Lloyd Blue!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dean Gaines!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaines throws a right hand that Blue ducks under and follows up with a left that Blue also avoids with ease.
Blue tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gaines paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Blue lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Gaines avoids the head kick by Blue.
Blue stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Blue. Gaines shrugs it off though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blue moves out of range as Gaines strikes.
Gaines on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Blue definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

A nice side step and Gaines releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Blue uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gaines.

It looked like Blue wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Blue swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Blue throws a right hand that Gaines ducks under and follows up with a left that Gaines also avoids with ease.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gaines feints a jab promting Blue to slip. Gaines then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Blue slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Blue gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Oooooh!!! Gaines has knocked Blue down with a huge combo! Gaines steps away and waves a wobbly Blue back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Gaines moves out of range as Blue throws a body kick.
Gaines loads up on a big right hand but Blue slips the punch.
Blue throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gaines! But no joy.
