Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sergej Kusnemirpow!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kusnemirpow has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Kusnemirpow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Kusnemirpow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Johnson lands a big head kick that sends Kusnemirpow to the canvas! Johnson follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

After the fight, Jameel Johnson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
