Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rabies Raivo (ranked 398 p4p, 936 weight class) and Akubundu Yobachukwu (ranked 56 p4p, 119 weight class). Yobachukwu has chosen Hate Me Now as his entrance music. Rabies Raivo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Akubundu Yobachukwu's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Raivo.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yobachukwu clinches up with Raivo and pushes him back against the cage.

Raivo has a couple of punches blocked by Yobachukwu.

Yobachukwu is trying to break the clinch but Raivo is controlling him.

and Raivo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Akubundu Yobachukwu has been cut.

and Raivo counters with a nice right hand that sends Yobachukwu toppling to the canvas! Yobachukwu scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Raivo finish him?!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fight stays on the outside here - Yobachukwu looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Raivo keeps control of Yobachukwu as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Yobachukwu throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Raivo counters with a head kick that drops Yobachukwu to the mat! Yobachukwu scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Yobachukwu is still on wobbly legs! Can Raivo finish him?
Raivo thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Yobachukwu if he has to take too many more of those.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Raivo cracks Yobachukwu with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

After winning the bout, Rabies Raivo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
