Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lamar Riggs (ranked 2999 p4p, 2985 weight class) and Cal Ripken (ranked 350 p4p, 347 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lamar Riggs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cal Ripken! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Chris Dean and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ripken looks to land a left hand but Riggs moved out of range nicely. Riggs is looking to counter punch. Ripken takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Riggs fails in his attempt to clinch. Ripken checks a leg kick nicely. Ripken with a jab. Riggs feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ripken sprawling to the canvas! Ripken rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Riggs finish him?!
It looks like Cal Ripken has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Some wild striking there from Ripken.

Riggs drops Ripken onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Ripken is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet! Riggs creates a bit of distance and cracks Ripken with a massive left hook! Ripken crumples out of camera shot, completely unconscious! He's been Nelmarked! Riggs stares at him for a moment then struts over to his corner, victorious.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lamar Riggs! A relieved looking Lamar Riggs thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
