Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ross Clay (ranked 25304 p4p, 3187 weight class) and Jesper Martensson (ranked 468 p4p, 306 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Clay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jesper Martensson! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Kavanagh and Columbo Gatti.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clay tries for a takedown but Martensson circles away easily and Clay takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Clay closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Martensson did well to prevent Clay getting side control. Martensson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Martensson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Martensson.
Clay avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Martensson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Clay's guard.
Martensson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Clay's guard.
Martensson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Clay is just riding it out for now. Martensson eventually gives up the hold. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Martensson is looking to advance position but Clay won't allow it.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Martensson maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Clay could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Martensson has cracked it and Clay is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Martensson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jesper Martensson! Ross Clay was interviewed post fight and said 'I really don't know how to feel, it was a good fight.. a very good fight and I think we both showed our best side out there. I hope I can come back stronger.'.
