Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Crute!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Asep Ahmad!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crute moves into range and clinches up with Ahmad.
A head punch on the inside from Crute fails to land.
Crute wants a takedown.
Crute tries to break the clinch but Ahmad is controlling the position.
Ahmad effectively controlling the action here.
Crute tries to pull guard but Ahmad won't allow it.
Ahmad lands a left hand.
Crute is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ahmad to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimmy Crute. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ahmad pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Crute looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ahmad is fending him off so far but Crute persists. Nope, Ahmad circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ahmad fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Crute sprawls well initially but Ahmad persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Crute on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Ahmad wants to get back to his feet.

Well, if Ahmad is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Crute makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Crute.
Ahmad makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Ahmad stands up over Crute, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Ahmad tries to stand but Crute is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ahmad seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Ahmad postures up.
Crute is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ahmad is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Ahmad must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ahmad distracts Crute with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Ahmad stays in close to Crute's body and controls the position.
Ahmad tries to free his leg and advance position but Crute is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crute is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Ahmad is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Crute misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ahmad slaps away a takedown attempt from Crute, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Crute clinches with his opponent.
Ahmad pulls guard.
Crute trying to control but Ahmad is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Crute advances to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crute throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Crute is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Crute passes the guard and advances to mount!
Ahmad is looking to get to half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Asep Ahmad dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Crute gets caught napping as Ahmad dives in and scores a takedown. Crute manages to retain guard.
Ahmad is posturing up here but Crute has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Ahmad tries to roll out but it's too tight and Ahmad has to tap! Slick submission there by Crute!
