Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Snowstrinski throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Shart was covering up waiting for the punch and Snowstrinski finishes the takedown easily into guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. You can see the frustration on Shart's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Shart is looking for a sweep. Snowstrinski is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Shart knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Snowstrinski tries to move into full mount but can't pass Shart's legs. Snowstrinski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. And that's the end of the fight! As we have tied on points, we go to a tie breaker and Snowstrinski gets a bonus point for attempting more subs. Snowstrinski wins on points by 12 to 11. A determined Olaf Snowstrinski didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it! In defeat, Rumsfeld Shart stepped up to the mic, saying 'You either win or you learn, this time I learned... Ossss'. |
