Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gage Burns (ranked 1227 p4p, 3395 weight class) and Nico Wong (ranked 158 p4p, 381 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gage Burns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nico Wong!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Burns defends well and Wong ends up having to push Burns into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Burns lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Burns.
Burns connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wong's hands.
Sloppy strikes from Burns. Those never looked like landing.
Wong steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Burns.
Burns lands a jab to the nose.
A punch combination from Burns misses.
Burns scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wong doesn't seem bothered though.
Burns keeps the fight on the outside.
That kick from Wong tenderised Burns's leg. Burns is trying to keep his angry face on.
Wong shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wong takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Burns scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Burns cracks Wong with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Wong showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Burns.
Wong walks into a left hand.
Burns throws a series of punches but Wong avoids them all with ease.

Burns lands a lovely overhand right.
Burns fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wong on the side of the head.
Wong's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Burns connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Wong scrambles back to his feet.
Burns stuns Wong with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Wong darts in looking for a takedown but Burns gets double underhooks and turns Wong into the cage.
Burns appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Burns scores with a jab to the jaw.
A decent looking cross lands there for Burns.
Burns lands a jab to Wong's midsection.
Burns looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wong on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Burns swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Left hook, right uppercut from Burns.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wong has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Burns scores with the left hand. Wong knows he should have avoided that one.
Burns cracks Wong with a good jab.
Burns scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Burns stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Burns wants it to stay on the feet.
Gage Burns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nico Wong.

Wong is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wong looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gage Burns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wong tries to close the distance and clinch up but Burns swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Wong avoids the body shot from Burns.
A combination from Burns does no damage.
Wong wants to counter with a clinch but Burns pushes him away.
Wong tries to clinch up but Burns circles away and keeps his distance.
Burns's corner calls for a 1-2. Burns obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Burns will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A low kick from Wong misses
and Burns counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Burns manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Wong on his heels. He'll look to pass Wong's guard now, I'm sure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Burns loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Burns with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wong has momentary wrist control but Burns slips an elbow through the middle.
Burns content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wong can do anything to dispel that myth.
Burns is working Wong over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Burns postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Wong is rocked!
Burns loads up on a big left hand. Wong felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Burns looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Wong can't hide his disappointment, as Burns celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gage Burns!
