Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig Donnelly (ranked 4234 p4p, 25537 weight class) and Lance Hodges (ranked 442 p4p, 510 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Craig Donnelly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lance Hodges! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donnelly fails to land the takedown.
Hodges drives through and clinches with Donnelly against the cage.
Hodges looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Donnelly looking for a takedown. Donnelly wants to stall.
Hodges cracks Donnelly with a nice body shot.
Hodges escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Donnelly dodges the punch combination from Hodges.
Hodges throws a combination. Donnelly tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
 It looks like Craig Donnelly has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Donnelly misses with a body shot.
No luck for Donnelly with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Craig Donnelly. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hodges rushes Donnelly and presses him up against the cage. Donnelly's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
 That's one minute gone in the round. Hodges pushes Donnelly back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hodges breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Left hook, right uppercut from Hodges.
 Craig Donnelly's cut is getting worse. Donnelly throws the left hand but Hodges avoids the punch easily. Craig Donnelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hodges goes for a small jab and connects. Now Hodges goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Donnelly stumbles back but Hodges runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Donnelly to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Donnelly will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lance Hodges! Lance Hodges bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
