Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Chung (ranked 1495 p4p, 1936 weight class) and Harrison Rose (ranked 150 p4p, 199 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ramon Chung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Harrison Rose!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chung misses with an uppercut
and Rose counters with a straight right hand.
Rose connects with a body shot.
Chung misses with an uppercut
and Rose counters with a stiff right hand.
Chung uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rose.
Rose throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chung clobbers Rose with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Chung misses with a wild body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chung ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A telegraphed right hand from Rose misses the target.

and Chung counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Rose looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rose, as that shot connected.
Chung shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Chung misses with a hook
and Rose counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Chung jabs at Rose's body.
A slow jab from Rose misses its intended target.

Chung throws a right hand that misses
and Rose connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rose misses with a combination
and Chung counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rose is still on wobbly legs! Can Chung finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Chung waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rose.
Rose looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Rose seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd cheers as Chung lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rose doesn't seem phased though.

Chung throws a hook but Rose blocks it.
Rose throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rose misses with an uppercut. Chung saw that one coming.
Rose throws a body punch but Chung moves out of range.

Chung darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Chung misses with a double jab
and Rose counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rose uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Chung.
Chung clobbers Rose with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Rose lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Rose scores with a nice right hand.

Chung cracks Rose with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Rose looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Chung finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chung throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

A telegraphed right hand from Rose misses the target.
Rose throws a body shot but no joy.
Ramon Chung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rose moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Chung definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Chung dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Chung lands with a nice body punch.
Rose gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Chung.
Chung throws a hook but Rose avoids it easily.
Chung misses with a jab to the body
and Rose counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rose misses with a body shot.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Chung ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Rose might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Chung has got the better of the exchanges.

Chung swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Chung throws a poor cross that misses

and Rose counters by clinching up.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rose.
Rose presses Chung against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Chung breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

enabling Chung to counter with a crisp jab.
Chung bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rose's head backwards.
Rose has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Chung throws a lazy uppercut
and Rose counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Chung throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ramon Chung is winning the standup battle so far.
Chung slips a straight right by Rose.
Chung swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
The fighters circling - Chung throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Chung takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Chung bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Chung is looking to counter punch.
Chung circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Rose to the canvas! Rose doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Chung keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
