Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Uzu Mao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Weilong Li!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mao tries for a takedown but Li circles away easily
and Li counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Li.

Mao is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Rising Sun Training that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Li stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mao swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oh Mao is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Li gets to his feet and stands over Mao, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Mao felt that one! Li unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Mao from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Weilong Li!
