Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coelho wants to clinch.
Lopescu looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Coelho!
Lopescu working for a guillotine from mount but Coelho is in no mood to give up.
Lopescu blocks Coelho's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Coelho tries to buck Lopescu off but he can't manage it.
Coelho throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Coelho swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Coelho tries to hold on but Lopescu postures up.
Coelho is trying to escape the mount.
Coelho's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Coelho tries to reverse the position but Lopescu maintains control.

Coelho sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Lopescu is keen to just control but Coelho is a slippery customer.
Coelho scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Lopescu manages to mount him!

Coelho is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Coelho wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Coelho trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Coelho knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lopescu on the ground.

Lopescu can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Coelho is looking to escape.

Coelho is desperately trying to improve his position but Lopescu has a good base and remains in mount.
Lopescu tries to control but Coelho wriggling away.

Lopescu takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The referee warns Coelho that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lopescu get's back to his feet.
Coelho forces Lopescu back against the cage and clinches.
Lopescu looking to stall.
Coelho breaks from the clinch.
Coelho connects with a nice looking jab.
Horrible takedown by Lopescu or perhaps it was just good defense by Coelho which made him look bad.
Coelho fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lopescu.
Coelho lands with a slapping head kick.
Coelho swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Coelho blocks the body kick.
Coelho tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Coelho bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dimitry Lopescu dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lopescu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Coelho throws a sloppy head kick and Lopescu moves out of range easily.
Coelho drives through and clinches with Lopescu against the cage.
Coelho pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lopescu is looking to clinch.
Coelho throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lopescu counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lopescu.
Lopescu prevents Coelho from getting back to his feet.
Lopescu sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Coelho's guard.
Coelho wants to get back to his feet.
Lopescu lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Coelho is trying to control but Lopescu passes into side control!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lopescu is staying tight to Coelho's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Lopescu decides to stand back up. Lopescu steps back and let's Coelho get back to his feet.
Lopescu throws a sloppy head kick
and Coelho makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Coelho keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Lopescu shoots for a takedown but Coelho saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Lopescu counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

You can see the frustration on Coelho's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Lopescu connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Coelho some visible discomfort.
Coelho is not content to let Lopescu control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Coelho manages to work his way to half guard, despite Lopescu's best efforts.

Coelho wants to stand and escape but Lopescu is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lopescu is in close to Coelho's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Coelho is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Lopescu has had enough of the clinch but Coelho keeps him there for the moment.
Lopescu has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Coelho is trying to keep an underhook but Lopescu manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Lopescu closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Coelho to the mat! Coelho manages to get full guard.
Coelho wants to stand and escape but Lopescu is having none of it.

Coelho gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lopescu.

Coelho feints and then cracks Lopescu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lopescu down.
Lopescu takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
No luck for Coelho with that takedown attempt.
Coelho has managed to clinch.
Coelho wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Coelho tries to break the clinch but Lopescu is controlling the position.
Coelho escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Nice uppercut lands for Lopescu. That snapped Coelho's head back.
Lopescu shoots in and drives through. Coelho sprawls well.
Lopescu has closed the distance and engaged Coelho in a clinch.
Coelho pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lopescu shoots in and bounces Coelho off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Lopescu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lopescu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Coelho is looking to stand up but Lopescu isn't so interested in that idea.
Lopescu seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Coelho keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Flaviao Coelho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dimitry Lopescu.
Coelho closes the distance but Lopescu moves to the side
and Lopescu counters with a nice double leg into side control. Coelho won't be happy with that.

I've got Lopescu winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
