The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fox throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tavares's waist but Tavares gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fox off to one side.
Fox closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tavares to the mat! Tavares manages to get full guard.
Fox passes Tavares's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Tavares tries to roll over but Fox keeps him under control.
Fox is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Fox passes the guard and advances to mount!
Fox sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Fox will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Fox content just to control the position here.
Fox wants to control the pace but Tavares is squirming around nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fox is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Fox extends the arm and Tavares is forced to tap!
