PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Monkey D Luffi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hwang Jae Sung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Luffi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to One pece. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Monkey D Luffi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hwang Jae Sung!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jae Sung drives through and clinches with Luffi against the cage.

Jae Sung pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Luffi darts in and clinches Jae Sung up against the cage.
Luffi slowing the pace effectively.
Luffi drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jae Sung pulls his leg out and moves away.
A good leg kick by Jae Sung.
Jae Sung shoots for a double leg takedown but Luffi sprawls well. He's pushed Jae Sung's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Luffi clinches.
Luffi has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jae Sung avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Luffi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jae Sung just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Monkey D Luffi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Luffi is looking to break free of the clinch but Jae Sung has double underhooks.
Jae Sung is trying to maintain a safe position but Luffi gets an underhook and turns Jae Sung into the cage.
Jae Sung prevents a takedown attempt there.

Jae Sung gets control of Luffi's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jae Sung will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Jae Sung has his hands on Luffi's head, controlling the position.

Jae Sung escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Luffi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Luffi is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jae Sung has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Luffi is looking to defend but Jae Sung has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Luffi! Jae Sung pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Luffi taps out and this one is all over!
