Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jean Soiyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and El Condor Ruiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jean Soiyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, El Condor Ruiz! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soiyer fails with a takedown attempt. Ruiz scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Soiyer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ruiz's guard. Soiyer trying to control but Ruiz is working from the bottom. Ruiz is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Ruiz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ruiz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Ruiz is controlling the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruiz stands up from half guard. Ruiz doesn't succeed with the takedown and Soiyer counters with a big head kick but Ruiz shrugs it off. Soiyer shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Soiyer showed some decent athleticism there. Ruiz is looking for a sweep. Soiyer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ruiz is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Ruiz looks gassed! Soiyer tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Soiyer wants to pass to mount but Ruiz is defending the position. Ruiz looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ruiz desperately trying to maintain half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ruiz works his way to full guard. Good work. Soiyer trying to control but Ruiz is working from the bottom. Ruiz managing to control the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Soiyer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ruiz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Soiyer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Soiyer drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ruiz dives on top into guard. Ruiz cracks Soiyer with a solid left hand. Ruiz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Ruiz distracts Soiyer with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
El Condor Ruiz dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Soiyer gets caught flat footed, as Ruiz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Ruiz's corner is telling him to maintain position. Soiyer trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Ruiz is stalling in the full guard. Ruiz looking to pass the guard. Ruiz pushes down on Soiyer's leg and manages to get into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruiz wants to control but Soiyer is keeping him busy. Soiyer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ruiz is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Soiyer is trying to stand up here but Ruiz is controlling him well. Ruiz performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Let's hope that Ruiz has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ruiz is looking for a kimura here.
Ruiz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Soiyer keeps working.

Despite being in the dominant position, El Condor Ruiz just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Soiyer lands with a kick to the temple. Ruiz shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Ruiz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Ruiz advances position into side control! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Soiyer can't do much from the bottom here. Soiyer is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Soiyer is trying to escape the position but Ruiz is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
El Condor Ruiz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Ruiz changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Soiyer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Ruiz throws an elbow but Soiyer slips to the side and avoids it well. Ruiz is staying tight to Soiyer's torso, preventing him from escaping. Ruiz working away. El Condor Ruiz has got the better of the ground game so far. Ruiz has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Soiyer is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Ruiz yanks on the arm and Soiyer is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Ruiz.
