Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Wesley Hardin (ranked 1899 p4p, 2553 weight class) and Damar Sulekov (ranked 89 p4p, 107 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Wesley Hardin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Damar Sulekov! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sulekov moves in looking to clinch but Hardin pushes him off. Sulekov misses with a series of wild punches.
Hardin was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Sulekov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hardin swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sulekov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Hardin throwing a counter right hand but Sulekov manages to avoid it. Sulekov staying out of range there. Sulekov shoots in for a takedown but Hardin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sulekov lands with an uppercut that bounces Hardin off the cage and back into range. Sulekov tries to clinch but Hardin moves out of range. Hardin swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Sulekov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hardin circles away. John Wesley Hardin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damar Sulekov. A big left from Hardin misses.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Hardin. Sulekov does a little dance to reset his feet. Sulekov walks into a jab. Sulekov shoots in for a takedown but Hardin shows good takedown defense. Hardin is looking to counter punch. Sulekov wants to clinch up but Hardin keeps it at a distance. Sulekov closes the distance and clinches up with Hardin, looking for a takedown. Sulekov pushes Hardin against the cage but Hardin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Damar Sulekov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hardin fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Hardin lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
 It looks like Damar Sulekov has been cut. Nice takedown defense from Hardin. No joy for Sulekov on that attempt. Hardin slaps away a takedown attempt from Sulekov, before circling back to the center of the mat. Hardin is looking to counter punch. Sulekov doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hardin counters with a straight right hand.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Sulekov takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sulekov throws a sloppy head kick and Hardin counters with a stiff right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hardin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sulekov. Hardin fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Sulekov walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Sulekov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hardin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sulekov thinking.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardin circles away from the clinch attempt and Hardin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've been told by Hardin's head coaches at Tokyo All-Stars that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. A looping hook to the body misses from Hardin. Sulekov does a little dance to reset his feet. Sulekov tries to counter with a clinch but Hardin shakes him off and moves away. Good shot there by Hardin.
 That has opened up Damar Sulekov's cut even more.
Sulekov looking to score a takedown here. Hardin is defending well but Sulekov drives through and ends up in Hardin's guard. Sulekov throws a big elbow that misses. Sulekov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hardin keeping moving, preventing Sulekov from controlling successfully. Sulekov passes into half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Sulekov performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Hardin is trying is best to control the position here. Sulekov throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Hardin is staying active underneath Sulekov, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Sulekov lands strikes from half guard. Hardin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
John Wesley Hardin dominated that round. The cut man is working on Damar Sulekov's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A big right from Hardin misses. Sulekov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hardin is fending him off so far but Sulekov persists. Nope, Hardin circles away and we're back to standing. Sulekov shoots and misses and Hardin counters with a lovely straight right hand! Damar Sulekov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sulekov fails miserably with a takedown attempt. John Wesley Hardin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damar Sulekov. Sulekov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hardin swivels and escapes. Sulekov has a takedown stuffed. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sulekov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Hardin to counter with a crisp jab. Hardin thows a left - swing and a miss!
 That's one minute gone in the round. Sulekov misses with a takedown letting Hardin counter with a right hand. Sulekov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hardin pinned against the cage. Hardin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hardin is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Hardin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sulekov. A quick step to the side and Hardin tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Sulekov defending well as Hardin loads up on a big left hand. Sulekov tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Hardin is able to avoid easily. Sulekov slips under a jab. Hardin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Sulekov shoots and misses and Hardin counters with a stiff right hand. Sulekov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hardin as he jumps to the side. Hardin swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Hardin bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sulekov's head backwards. Sulekov throws a sloppy body shot
and Hardin counters with a stiff right hand. Sulekov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sulekov tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Hardin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
 The cut above Damar Sulekov's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Sulekov misses with a takedown attempt and Hardin counters with a nice uppercut. Sulekov is breathing heavily. Hardin lands a body shot.
Hardin lands a nice shot to the body.
Hardin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sulekov can do to turn this around? Sulekov on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
 Damar Sulekov's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Hardin scores with a kick to the midsection. Hardin ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Nice shot by Hardin. John Wesley Hardin is winning the standup battle so far. Hardin moves into range and connects with a jab. Sulekov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hardin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sulekov wants a takedown.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Hardin. Hardin working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Damar Sulekov's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
