Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Lima (ranked 1181 p4p, 1493 weight class) and Dmitry Boytsov (ranked 155 p4p, 194 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Boytsov's choice of entrance music: AMAZING. Dmitry Boytsov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ricardo Lima! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 22 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitry Boytsov! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lima gets the takedown into side control. Lima is putting a hurting on Boytsov here, landing some big shots from side control. Boytsov is looking to reverse the position. Boytsov is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lima off and has taken his back! Boytsov is trying to stick to Lima's back but Lima is turning into Boytsov. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Boytsov's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Lima. Boytsov wants to sweep here but Lima controlling him for the moment. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boytsov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lima is aware though and is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boytsov has his foot on Lima's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lima works his way back into a safe position though.
Boytsov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lima gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Lima wants to control from the top but Boytsov keeps moving. Lima sitting in guard, not really doing much. Boytsov avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Lima is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Boytsov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Boytsov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Lima stays in close to Boytsov's body and controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lima preventing the sweep. Lima scoring with punches to the head and body.
 The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Boytsov looking for a guillotine here but Lima defends easily.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lima is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Boytsov working for a triangle but Lima defends it easily.
Boytsov keeping moving, preventing Lima from controlling successfully. Boytsov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lima postures up in Boytsov's guard and throws a big left but Boytsov blocks it. Lima slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Boytsov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lima defends well. Lima is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Boytsov looking to sweep here. No luck so far. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Boytsov is on top in guard.
Boytsov trying to control the position from guard on top but Lima is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lima is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Boytsov looking to pass the guard.

Lima pushes a forearm under Boytsov's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Boytsov is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ricardo Lima! Ricardo Lima seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. In defeat, Dmitry Boytsov stepped up to the mic, saying 'I don't care'.
