Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tim Bird (ranked 514 p4p, 763 weight class) and Jimmy Logan (ranked 69 p4p, 104 weight class). Bird comes to the cage accompanied by Dragula - Rob Zombie. Logan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Wizard. Jimmy Logan has the better chin. The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Logan needs to keep his hands up - Bird had a free shot at his head there.
Bird shoots in looking for a takedown. Logan tries to sprawl out of it but Bird keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Logan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Logan staying out of range there.
Bird scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Bird is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Logan is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Bird has latched onto it... Big trouble! Bird pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Logan is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Bird!
