Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thiago De Lima (ranked 2381 p4p, 2631 weight class) and John Geghan (ranked 272 p4p, 309 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thiago De Lima!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Geghan!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Lima gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
De Lima tries to bum rush Geghan with a series of wild strikes but Geghan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
De Lima tries to work over Geghan's front leg with a kick but Geghan checks it.
De Lima moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
John Geghan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

De Lima explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Geghan lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Geghan connects with a nice short shot to De Lima's temple.
Geghan uses his free foot to push down on De Lima's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for De Lima.
