Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roger Allan (ranked 2121 p4p, 3721 weight class) and Davion Mccall (ranked 240 p4p, 406 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roger Allan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Davion Mccall!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mccall changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Mccall looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Allan!
Allan can't do much from the bottom here.
Mccall controls the position from side control.
Allan wants to control but Mccall postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Allan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mccall is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The ground and pound from Mccall seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Mccall tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mccall has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Allan regains half guard.
Mccall is controlling the pace.
Allan looks like he's trying to stand up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Allan trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mccall stalling.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Mccall seems to be working for a kimura but Allan defends the submission attempt.
Still in half guard, Mccall seems content to control.

Mccall prevents Allan from improving his position.
Mccall is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Allan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mccall tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Allan scores with a jab to the head.

It looks like Davion Mccall has been cut.
Allan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mccall momentarily.
Allan lands a two punch combo.
Allan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mccall at a distance.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Allan wants to break the clinch but can't.

Allan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mccall takes one on the button.
Allan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mccall feints the counter takedown.
Mccall takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Allan throws a head kick that misses

and Mccall counters with a shoot takedown. Allan fights it but they end up in guard.
Allan is trying to control the position but Mccall postures up.
Mccall's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Allan looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Allan looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Mccall slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Allan trying to keep a closed guard but Mccall is proving a slippery customer.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Mccall's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Allan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mccall scrambles back to his feet.
A solid leg kick lands there for Allan.
Mccall shoots and misses
and Allan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mccall tries to move into range but Allan moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Allan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Allan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And Mccall tries to counter it with a takedown but Allan pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Mccall manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Allan on his heels. He'll look to pass Allan's guard now, I'm sure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Allan controls Mccall momentarily but Mccall frees himself.
Mccall not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Mccall seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Allan wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Allan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mccall.
Allan cracks Mccall with an open hand slap.

That has opened up Davion Mccall's cut even more.
Mccall is looking to clinch but Allan is avoiding it.
Allan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Mccall counters with a nice double leg into side control. Allan won't be happy with that.

Allan sneaks out the side door and pushes Mccall away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Left hook, right uppercut from Allan.
We've been informed that Mccall has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Mccall drops his hands momentarily and Allan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Mccall moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A slapping leg kick lands for Allan.
Mccall on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Allan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mccall can do to turn this around?

A momentary lapse in concentration from Allan enables Mccall to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Allan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Mccall stands and throws Allan's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mccall controls the position.
Davion Mccall has got the better of the ground game so far.
Mccall's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
You can see the frustration on Allan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Allan sneaks out the side door and pushes Mccall away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Allan stuffs the takedown attempt from Mccall. Mccall gets slowly back to his feet.
Allan thuds his right hand into Mccall's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Allan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Roger Allan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Davion Mccall.

Allan gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

A shot to the liver by Allan. Beautiful body shot.

Mccall tries to keep at a distance but Allan has taken the fight into the clinch.
Allan stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Allan breaks from the clinch.
Mccall tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A left and a right from Allan both land. Nice combination.
Allan throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Mccall is still on wobbly legs! Can Allan finish him?

The cut above Davion Mccall's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Allan feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mccalls jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Allan throws a pinpoint strike between Mccall's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Mccall crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Allan scores a great knockout victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Roger Allan!
Roger Allan seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
