Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nick Mcdonald (ranked 3615 p4p, 4920 weight class) and Albert Einstein (ranked 338 p4p, 395 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Mcdonald! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Albert Einstein! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcdonald tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A head kick by Einstein misses so Mcdonald counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Mcdonald not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Einstein keeping full guard, as Mcdonald tries to pass. Einstein wants to stand up but Mcdonald is controlling him. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Einstein can do anything to dispel that myth. Mcdonald trying to control but Einstein is working from the bottom. Mcdonald stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Einstein swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Einstein utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Einstein keeping moving, preventing Mcdonald from controlling successfully. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcdonald slips nicely into half guard. Mcdonald thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Mcdonald wants to work for an arm triangle but Einstein is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Mcdonald is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Einstein tries to kick Mcdonald off but Mcdonald keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Einstein is not content to let Mcdonald control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mcdonald is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Einstein is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcdonald not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Mcdonald seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Einstein does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Einstein is in trouble now - Mcdonald has advanced to mount! Mcdonald has control of Einstein's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Einstein regains control of the situation pretty easily.
BOOM! Mcdonald connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Mcdonald throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Mcdonald looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mcdonald jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Einstein manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcdonald has hold of Einstein's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Einstein seems comfortable defending it but Mcdonald has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Einstein is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Einstein is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mcdonald couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Nick Mcdonald! Nick Mcdonald bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
