The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Albertini looks to throw the jab but Jones is out of range.

and Albertini counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Hamburger Jones has been cut.
Albertini throws a hook but Jones avoids it easily.
Jones uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Albertini.
Albertini connects with a right hand. Jones shakes it off.
Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Albertini manages to avoid it.
Albertini throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Albertini steps in with a hook that catches Jones right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Albertini follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Jones looks absolutely devastated.

Michele Albertini is the new heavyweight champion!
Michele Albertini decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
