Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arctic Char (ranked 1436 p4p, 1707 weight class) and King Kong Jones (ranked 144 p4p, 171 weight class). Char comes to the cage accompanied by Ice Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice. The key to victory for Arctic Char has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Arctic Char!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, King Kong Jones!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Char.
Char is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Jones wants to clinch but Char slips to the side
and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Char swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
An attempted straight right counter from Char misses the target.

enabling Char to counter with a crisp jab.
Arctic Char has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Kong Jones.
Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Char avoids it really well and circles away.
A quick step to the side and Char tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
King Kong Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.

We've been told by Char's head coaches at The Aquarium that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jones tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Char counters with a nice right hand that sends Jones toppling to the canvas! Jones scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Char finish him?!
It looks like King Kong Jones has been cut.
Jones shoots and misses
and Char counters with a left and a right... And another left! Jones is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arctic Char!
A very excited looking Arctic Char made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
