Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Mercer (ranked 1194 p4p, 2594 weight class) and Mehdi Kanaani (ranked 120 p4p, 255 weight class). Mercer comes to the cage accompanied by Why Can't We Be Friends by WAR. Kanaani has chosen Dr. Dre ft. Snoop Dogg - Nuthin' But A G Thang as his entrance music. Mehdi Kanaani struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. On his way into the cage it seems that Bobby Mercer has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bobby Mercer seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?
