Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harrison Kiely!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robbie Shakespeare!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shakespeare is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kiely.
Kiely lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Shakespeare gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Shakespeare takes a swing at Kiely's ribcage but misses.

Kiely takes the fight into the clinch.
Stalling in the clinch from Kiely.
Kiely tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kiely holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Kiely misses with a hook from the clinch.
Kiely lands with a short shot to the head.

It looks like Robbie Shakespeare has been cut.
Kiely lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Kiely gets through Shakespeare's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Shakespeare wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kiely has him pressed against the cage.
Kiely effectively controlling the action here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shakespeare is trying to force a seperation but Kiely has the dominant position.
Shakespeare wants to get back to striking at distance but Kiely won't allow it.
Kiely's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Shakespeare is trying to break the clinch but Kiely has him pressed against the cage.
Kiely lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Shakespeare backwards.
Come on Kiely - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Kiely makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Shakespeare is trying to break the clinch but Kiely is controlling him.
Kiely fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Kiely is working Shakespeare over against the cage.
Kiely lands a hook that snaps the head of Shakespeare backwards.
Kiely throws a head punch that misses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shakespeare breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kiely cracks Shakespeare with a right hand to the side of the head.
Kiely darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Kiely scores with a punch to the head.
Shakespeare rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kiely moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kiely changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Despite the aggression on Shakespeare's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Shakespeare misses with a hook.
Shakespeare walks into a stiff left hand from Kiely.

Kiely darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kiely perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Kiely looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kiely keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Kiely's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kiely is keen to just control but Shakespeare is a slippery customer.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shakespeare can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kiely is really struggling to control Shakespeare but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Kiely wants to lay and pray for a moment but Shakespeare keeps working.
Kiely passes the guard and advances to mount!

Kiely swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
