Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maddox Deleon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Himeshvar Varishim!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Varishim looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Varishim falls off balance throwing a combination
and Deleon counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Deleon won't allow Varishim to get back to his feet.
Deleon keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Varishim's head.
Deleon is in close to Varishim's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Deleon prevents Varishim from getting back to his feet.
Deleon with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Deleon working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Deleon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Varishim is rocked!
Deleon postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Varishim is still in real trouble! Can Deleon finish him?
Deleon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Varishim on the ground.
Deleon gets to his feet and stands over Varishim, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Varishim felt that one! Deleon unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Varishim from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maddox Deleon!
After the fight, Maddox Deleon was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
