Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Stanley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnord Rimmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stanley comes to the cage accompanied by Tomorrow. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanley is looking to clinch.
Stanley circles away from the clinch attempt
and Stanley counters with a head kick. That will keep Rimmer thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Rimmer throws a left and a right that both miss
and Stanley holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Stanley gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rimmer.
Rimmer is trying to drag Stanley to the mat but Stanley just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Stanley has clasped his hands together around Rimmer's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Stanley works to advance to full mount. Rimmer defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stanley swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Rimmer is now in Stanley's guard. A big mistake from Stanley there, giving up the dominant position!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Rimmer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stanley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stanley manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stanley breaks from Rimmer's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Stanley fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Rimmer's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Stanley lands a big elbow.
Stanley lands a big shot there that rocks Rimmer but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
BOOM! Stanley connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Stanley with a couple of short strikes.
Stanley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Stanley shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rimmer is trying to defend but Stanley finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Rimmer is desperately trying to improve his position but Stanley has a good base and remains in mount.

Stanley postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rimmer looks a forlorn figure.

Stanley is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Rimmer has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Rimmer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Stanley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rimmer napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Rimmer is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Stanley's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Stanley! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Rimmer has tapped! This one is allllll over!
