Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Atlas Raita (ranked 2247 p4p, 3654 weight class) and Abel Drugger (ranked 278 p4p, 418 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Atlas Raita!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Abel Drugger!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drugger throws a lazy right hand but Raita sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Drugger walks into a left hand.
A head kick misses from Drugger.
Drugger scores with the left hand. Raita knows he should have avoided that one.
Raita pushes Drugger up against the cage in a clinch.
Raita pushes Drugger back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Drugger tries to pull guard but Raita forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Raita misses with a short punch on the inside.
Drugger lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Raita makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Raita wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Raita looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Drugger throws a hook to the side of Raita's head but Raita sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Drugger misses with a looping right.
Raita feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Drugger misses with a body kick.
Drugger lands a slapping body shot.

Raita throws a sloppy head kick and Drugger moves out of range easily.
Raita moves out of range as Drugger throws a body kick.
Abel Drugger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Raita moves into range and clinches up with Drugger.
Raita lands a hook to the side of the head.
Raita misses with a punch to the body.
Raita lands with a short shot to the head.
Drugger manages to break the clinch.
Drugger thumps Raita with a low kick.
Raita slips under a jab from Drugger.
Raita lands the left hand.
Atlas Raita is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Raita clinches up with Drugger and pushes him back against the cage.

Raita gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Drugger.
Drugger is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Atlas Raita has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abel Drugger.
Raita pushes Drugger back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Drugger is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
A left hand lands to the body for Raita.
Raita prevents a body shot from Drugger.
Raita lands a shoulder strike.
Drugger trying to stall but Raita improves his position.
Raita scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Drugger is looking to control Raita's arms but Raita gets an underhook and turns him. Now Drugger has his back to the cage.
Drugger working hard to break the clinch.
Drugger looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Raita lands a shot to the body.

Raita lands with a short shot to the head.
Raita tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Drugger tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Drugger's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Raita moves out of range of the strikes.
Drugger tries a head kick but it misses.
Raita stuns Drugger with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Drugger throws a head kick that misses.
A head kick by Raita - that's a beauty! Drugger is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Raita can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Atlas Raita!
