Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dredd Tatum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Thunda Punch!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatum throws a left and a right that both miss
and Punch counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Punch scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tatum doesn't seem bothered though.
Tatum falls off balance throwing a combination
and Punch counters with a stiff right hand.
Punch throws a body punch but Tatum moves out of range.
Tatum misses with an uppercut
and Punch counters with a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tatum misses with a hook
and Punch counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Tatum thinking.
Tatum is breathing heavily.
Punch cracks Tatum with a right hand to the side of the head.
Punch digs a good hook to Tatum's body.
Punch has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Tatum is landing a low percentage of strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Punch stuns Tatum with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Punch connects with a solid leg kick.
Tatum rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Punch counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Thunda Punch!
Thunda Punch spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
