Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sage Hayes!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez fails to land the takedown.
Hayes clinches up with Hernandez and pushes him back against the cage.
Hernandez takes a knee to the side of the body.
Hayes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hayes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hernandez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hernandez is defended easily by Hayes.
Hayes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A head kick from Hayes lands but Hernandez takes it in his stride.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hayes scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Hayes slaps away a takedown attempt from Hernandez, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Hernandez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hayes is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hernandez, into his guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hernandez has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hayes should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Hernandez has tightened it up now! Hayes should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
