Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Savaje Bebe Chai (ranked 2102 p4p, 3141 weight class) and Bofur Widenose (ranked 235 p4p, 351 weight class). Chai comes to the cage accompanied by Never Fight An African. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Savaje Bebe Chai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 27 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bofur Widenose! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chai misses with an uppercut. Savaje Bebe Chai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chai has managed to clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Widenose. Chai prevents the takedown attempt.
Widenose jumps guard but Chai turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Chai lands a shoulder strike. Widenose blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Savaje Bebe Chai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bofur Widenose. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Widenose gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Chai manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Widenose manages to get himself to full guard.

Widenose is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Widenose had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chai defends it easily.
Widenose has his foot on Chai's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chai works his way back into a safe position though. Our spies down at at Bigfoot BJJ inform us that Widenose has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Chai works a leg free and moves into half guard. Widenose wants to control but Chai is keeping busy.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Widenose is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Widenose wants to control but Chai is keeping busy and won't allow it. Chai controlling the action here. Chai prevents Widenose from improving his position. Widenose is trying to control but can't.

Widenose looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Widenose moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Widenose controls Chai momentarily but Chai frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Chai throws the left hand but Widenose avoids the punch easily.
Widenose gets a clinch. Widenose tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Chai smiles and moves away.

Widenose clinches up against the cage. Widenose wants a takedown.

Widenose is trying to pull guard but Chai has him pressed against the cage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Widenose tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Chai smiles and moves away.
Chai lands with an uppercut that bounces Widenose off the cage and back into range. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Savaje Bebe Chai dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Widenose slips a jab from Chai. Widenose takes a body punch but keeps moving. Widenose moves out of range as Chai throws a body kick.
Chai throws a jab but it's blocked by Widenose. Chai is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Widenose can do to turn this around? Chai dips to his left and cracks Widenose with an uppercut!
Widenose clinches up against the cage. Widenose misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Chai.
Widenose tries to pull guard but Chai forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Widenose tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Chai just stands there and leans against the cage. Widenose tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Widenose is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Chai pulls him back up using the underhooks. A short right hand to the side of the head by Chai. Chai tries a body shot but Widenose blocks it.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Widenose goes for a takedown in the clinch but Chai prevents it.
Chai pushes Widenose back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. A left hand lands to the body for Chai.
Chai has a couple of punches blocked by Widenose.
Widenose gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Chai regains guard.
Chai is pulling down on Widenose's head. It's preventing any offense from Widenose, at least for the moment. Widenose slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Widenose trying to control the position from guard on top but Chai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Widenose being controlled here momentarily. Chai preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Widenose controlling from the top position.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Widenose stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Chai. Chai is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Widenose misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Widenose closes the distance and clinches. Chai misses with a hook to the ribs.
Widenose blocks an uppercut.
Widenose is looking for a takedown. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Chai.
Widenose has Chai pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Widenose pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Chai tumbling to the mat - Widenose dives into Chai's guard. Widenose trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Widenose trying to control the position from guard on top but Chai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Widenose drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Chai manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Widenose has Chai in his guard.
 The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Widenose working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chai doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chai manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Savaje Bebe Chai dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Chai is looking to take this fight into the clinch. We've been told by Chai's head coaches at Master Chai's Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Widenose feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Widenose throws a big right hand that misses. Widenose throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chai works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Chai keeping moving, preventing Widenose from controlling successfully. Widenose stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chai swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Widenose trying to move into half guard but instead Chai has managed to sweep!

 That's one minute gone in the round. Widenose trying to keep a closed guard but Chai is proving a slippery customer.

Widenose looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Widenose is trying to get back to full guard.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Chai not doing much here.
Widenose tries to get to full guard but Chai has control of the leg. Chai will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Widenose looking for submissions off his back. Widenose is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Chai misses with the body kick
and Widenose counters with a takedown into side control. Chai tries to buck Widenose off but Widenose is having none of it. Widenose laying and praying for a moment but Chai takes advantage and regains half guard. Widenose keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Widenose is just content to waste time from the top position. Chai takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Widenose trying to control but Chai is working from the bottom. Savaje Bebe Chai is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Widenose might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Chai haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Bofur Widenose has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chai pulls Widenose in close to prevent any damage.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Bofur Widenose. I think Chai has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
