Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gakus Amiga (ranked 23339 p4p, 23324 weight class) and Helen Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 49 - 69 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gakus Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 52 - 66 - 10, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Salvacion was covering up waiting for the punch and Amiga finishes the takedown easily into guard. Salvacion trying to control the position here. Amiga is stalling in the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion is pulling down on Amiga's head to control his posture. Salvacion wants to hit a sweep here but Amiga passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Salvacion there!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Amiga avoids the attempt from Salvacion to control. Amiga connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Salvacion wants to control but Amiga is having none of it. Amiga looking to control and managing it successfully.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Amiga tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Amiga working the ground and pound effectively.

Gakus Amiga dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Salvacion dives in and scores a takedown into Amiga's guard. Amiga is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Salvacion is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga has Salvacion pulled in close to control his posture. Amiga is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Salvacion can do to turn this around?
 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion controls from within his opponent's guard. Amiga is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Amiga controlling the position.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Salvacion tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Amiga swivels and escapes. Amiga leaves Salvacion with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Salvacion throws a wild body kick that Amiga sees coming a mile off.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion fails with the takedown. Gakus Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Helen Salvacion.
Amiga closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Salvacion's guard. Salvacion is adopting a defensive guard. Salvacion avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Salvacion is controlling Amiga's posture. Amiga trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion trying to control the position here. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Gakus Amiga will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Amiga gets a takedown into half guard. Salvacion wants to control but Amiga is keeping busy and won't allow it. Amiga is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Salvacion wants to get back to full guard but Amiga has passed into side control. Amiga working away.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Salvacion is holding Amiga down, trying to stall.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Amiga will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Salvacion shapes to counter with a head kick. Amiga fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Salvacion defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Amiga. Salvacion thinks about the counter body kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gakus Amiga. That's going to take a lot out of him.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga dives in for a single leg takedown but Salvacion sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Amiga wants a takedown.
Salvacion gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Amiga regains guard.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Amiga has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Salvacion is stalling in the full guard. Helen Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gakus Amiga is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion looking to sit in guard and control but Amiga gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gakus Amiga. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Amiga, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
