Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 100 - 61 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zambosurian Inday!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 136 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mmm Mmm!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Inday keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Inday jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Mmm fails with the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mmm looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Inday is fending him off so far but Mmm persists. Nope, Inday circles away and we're back to standing.
Inday half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Zambosurian Inday has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mmm Mmm.
Inday keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Inday shoots in looking for a takedown but Mmm manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Inday's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mmm closes the distance and clinches up with Inday, looking for a takedown. Mmm pushes Inday against the cage but Inday circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Inday thinks about countering with a body kick.

Mmm is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Inday postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Mmm shoots for a takedown but Inday saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mmm throws a head kick but Inday moves out of range.
Inday jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Inday goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Inday closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mmm quickly recovers to half guard.

Well, if Inday is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Inday has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Mmm is looking to control Inday's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mmm avoid being mounted?
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Inday defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mmm.
Mmm fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Inday throws a quick counter kick to the body but Mmm avoids it.
Mmm throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Inday's waist but Inday gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mmm off to one side.
It appears Inday was looking to counter with a kick there.

Mmm has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Inday is working away from the top position though.

Inday's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Inday thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mmm's head.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Still in half guard, Inday seems content to control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Mmm misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Inday half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Mmm drives through with a takedown into guard.

Inday wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Mmm trying to control but Inday is working from the bottom.

Zambosurian Inday overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Mmm tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Inday defends well and Mmm ends up having to push Inday into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
And Inday counters with a quick kick to the body but Mmm blocks it.

Zambosurian Inday is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Mmm slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
